What people say about Berryhill

We didn’t want to leave

From the minute we walked in we didn’t want to leave. From the thoughtful touches, to the ‘wow’ factor of the view, the 4 star quality of the bathroom and the breakfast pack that we bought from Berryhill. It was all amazing! It’s a Scottish Hygge where you just slow down and enjoy the special moment of comfort and contentedness.

Winter wonderland

Had an amazing stay at Berryhill! We had lots of snow which made it even more magical. Scotland’s version 0f Hygge! Will be back 🙂

This place is for you

Better than I could have imagined. If you are looking to get away from it all, then this place is for you. No neighbours, except animals, but lots of quiet and comfort. Not far from the sea and only a ten minute drive to the next grocery store. Absolutely recommended.

Everything you might need

Cosy, compact and well equipped with everything you might need. Our hosts were communicative and helpful throughout. The lodge is within easy driving distance of the coast and set in very picturesque borders countryside. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect for a quiet and relaxing weekend away from the city. Very comfortable and cosy with the most amazing views. Highly recommended!

Beautiful well equipped cottage

Had a lovely week in this very peaceful location listening to the birds. A beautiful, clean, well equipped little cottage, perfect needs nothing.  Hosts nearby but not intrusive.  Hope to stay here again in the future.  Lots of places to visit both seaside and country.  Thank you for the eggs , milk and wine.

Loved every minute

Had a lovely relaxing stay in this exquisite little cottage. Secluded, quite and completely private yet only  minutes from the A1 giving easy access to both Edinburgh and Newcastle.   The garden is simply delightful.  The perfect sun trap in the early evening and the ideal place to enjoy a glass of wine as you watch the sun go down.

Perfect Location

We loved the quiet rural location, the private garden was fantastic. Easy access to all the local attractions and an easy drive to Edinburgh to enjoy the Festival. Great Location, fantastic accommodation, friendly welcome, what more could you ask for.
