COVID 19 update for self-catering accommodation

Following this week’s announcement by the First Minister we are thrilled to be able to re-open for bookings from 26th April!

Safer stays

When we do re-open, we will be doing everything possible to keep both you and us safe.  We will be following guidance from the Association of Scotland’s self-caterer’s, including:

  • Each of our accommodation units is self-contained, with its own kitchen facilities, toilet and shower, outside seating/BBQ area and parking.
  • Anyone cleaning any of our accommodation or facilities will wear protective equipment to protect themselves and our guests. Anti-viral disinfectant will be used (certified for BS EN 14476) to clean all hard surfaces and frequently used items. Anti-bacterial hand sanitiser and/or liquid soap will be available in each accommodation.
  • Non-essential high touch items and soft furnishings have temporarily been removed from our accommodation.  This includes additional blankets, so you may wish to bring your own.  Any soft furnishings left will either be changed and washed or steam cleaned and sprayed with disinfectant between guests.
  • Guest arrival, key collection and key drop will be facilitated without the need for any face-to-face contact.

We look forward to being able to welcome you back to Berryhill and hope that these measures will help to re-assure you that each of our cosy self-catering units will be as safe as possible for you to stay in without affecting the quality of your stay.
